ABOUT

The site has been divided into two categories JAGUAR RACING and general JAGUAR. The main categories and navigation buttons are now on the left hand side on each page. Other related categories can be accessed from these pages.

JAGUAR

The site was originally intended to provide information for anyone interested in the popular & affordable XJS, XJ6 and XJ40 models using either the V12 HE, PRE HE or the Straight 6 AJ6 & AJ16 engines. We will soon be expanding the scope to cover other Jaguar ranges. Some of the present articles may also be of interest to owners of other Jaguar models and Kit car enthusiasts.

There will be features on problem areas, and improvements, plus a buyers guide of what to beware of! The first article is dealing with chassis rot around the Radius Arm mount.

NEW! BETTER HANDLING. Does your car feel like a high performance roadster with finely tuned suspension, or a tired armchair on wobbly wheels? With the earliest XJS's being over 30 years old and the newest being 13, an overhaul of the suspension bushes could make a world of difference to the handling performance of your Cat.

JAGUAR RACING

Despite the demise of the Jaguar F1 team, I am happy to report that Jaguar Racing in the UK is alive, well and thriving with XJS, Saloon, XK, and Powered by Jaguar Championships organised by the JEC.

There are pages offering advice for anyone considering getting started in club motor racing specifically Jaguar XJS's.

You will also be able to follow the progress of Dave Robbie and all the other drivers (Click on DRIVERS DETAILS) in the Jaguar World Monthly / Toyo XJS Championship, plus race reports and pictures (see CHOOSE A TRACK).

I will try to cover areas that are not covered on other sites, but will include links to sites that may be of interest to jaguar owners, and racing enthusiasts.

As a consequence of me maintaining and developing my own race car there are a number of Jaguar parts for sale from donor cars.

NEW...BRANDS HATCH TRACK DAY 2009...NEW

As usual, a variety of makes & marques made the best of a mild February track day. Over the next few days we will be putting pictures from the track day + gossip, rumours and news on Jaguar club racing in 2009.

JAGUAR DATA

The model data below is being constantly updated. There are a lot of errors in all the information I have seen in various books and web pages, and I cannot guarantee the accuracy of this list, but working on it! I would be grateful for any help in improving the data. This list will eventualy move to another page, with details on all popular Jaguar models from around the 1950's to date, with pictures. dave@jagracing.co.uk

Due to the number of different combinations of operating systems, browsers, screen settings, and text size settings, it is impossible to design a website to cater perfectly for all of them. We have endeavored to make the site as user friendly as possible for all users. The JAGRACING site is at its best viewed on medium text in IE6 and Firefox, at 1024x768. Other screen resolutions work OK. We are constantly striving to improve compatibility with other settings and browsers. Please let us know if you are experiencing any problems.

Any enquiries regarding this site to: enquiries@jagracing.co.uk Please check back soon!
