BRITCAR SUPPORT RACES

1

Gail Hill & Loz Ball upbeat and raring to go!

Whilst Sam Clarke ponders his strategy, and who can blame him with the RX7 of Stacy Vickers alongside!

RACE 1 Groups a & c

Tony Ellis (RX7) leads Colin Tester (Cosworth) at the start of Fridays race with group A & C

Sam Clarke (XJS) running strongly at the begining of the race!

Not quite sure who's pointing the wrong way?

Stacy Vickers puts the pressure on Sam Clarke shortly before the Mazda retired with a holed radiator. (apologies for getting the two orange RX7's mixed up).

Tony Ellis prepares to negotiate a gathering of E30's about to be lapped.

Despite all her efforts Gail Hill (XJ40) fails to make it past Richard Ibrahim finishing 13th & 14th

Loz Ball (XJS) settles for 16th having lost his battle with Gail

Fedup with leading the race Tony Ellis explores the infield

RACE 2 Groups b & c

Dave Robbie (white XJS) completed most of the race on 5 cylinders Doh!

Most of the Jags congregated together, even Ken Angel X300 came over tosay hello!

RACE 3 Groups a & b

Sam Clarke had a good second race despite fierce competition (finished 4th)

Dave Robbie surrounded by those pesky E30's whilst suffering fuel starvation (wasn't my fault!)

Not a good day for the Maxda's as Tony Ellis exits stage right!

Ken Lark (VW 9) giving Loz Ball plenty of grief despite only having three wheels on the tarmac for most of the lap!

ANY INTERESTING PICTURES OR STORIES RELATING TO THIS MEETING WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. PREFERABLY MATERIAL NOT FEATURED ON OTHER SITES, AND WITH THE OWNERS CONSENT.
