TTRS DTM SUPPORT RACE

DTM race. A bit more civilised than the British touring cars BTTC!

TTRS QUALIFYING (the Jaguars)

Despite only 1.159 seconds off the pace of Pole sitter John Willcocks, Sam Clarke (126) could only manage 11th on the grid! Being a previous TTRS race winner, Sam was struggling with grip on the Kent circuit. Meanwhile previous XJS championship winner Gail Hill had yet another dissapointing race weekend with a terminal head gasket failure during qualifying!

.

Lawrence Ball (64) qualified just ahead of Gail Hill in 17th whilst brother Dave Ball (14) ended practice 25th on the grid.

It was another nail biting race with plenty of close action throughout the grid. The majority of DTM punters stayed for the TTRS races which arguably turned out to be the best spectacle of the day, with loads of close action and overtaking manouvers (not all succesful!).

John Willcocks 2nd, Andrew Busby 1st, & Wayne Howlett 3rd celebrate F1 style!!!!

Dont miss TTRS SILVERSTONE GP 2-4th October 2009!
